This is an OMC 7k System Check Tachometer #177103. It is new with no box. It is in excellent condition. It fits Johnson and Evinrude outboards 1996 and newer with 5 or 6 pul/rev that are alternator equiped. It is solid-state electronics with temperature-resistant plastics and scratch resistant glass lense. It has a white dial face with black lettering and a black bezel. Mounting bracket is included. Only the Carrera and Targa have had the facelift so far, and still to come is the Turbo, not to mention the GT3. But Porsche is already a long way down the road with the next generation 911 (998), which is not expected to launch until 2011, as you can see from this spy shot taken in rather chilly Arctic climes.

Honda's new Insight hybrid hatchback has been on sale barely a week in the United States. But the company's sprawling plant here is already churning out 600 a day. And about half of the sleek-silhouetted Insights rolling down Suzuka's Line 1 have left-handed steering wheels, attesting to Honda's optimism for booming business in North America.

Opel rolls out new cars at Frankfurt motor show

While some automakers had just one or two new cars to show off at the Frankfurt motor show, GM's Opel division flooded the show with seven new offerings that'll be revealed as the show progresses. While there were plenty of new production models to be seen, including the revised Opel Insignia lineup, it was perhaps the Opel Monza concept that was designed to grab the attention of showgoers. We got a sneak peek at the Opel Monza concept a couple months ago, and even though a production version is not planned, the Monza is meant to showcase Opel's recent resurgence.
