He fills the role left by the resignation of David Robb, reportedly following a disagreement with a co-worker. Heinrich will report directly to Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design.
Volteis teases Philippe Starck-designed electric car
Tue, 21 Feb 2012Electric vehicle manufacturer Volteis has released a teaser of its latest car set to debut at the Geneva motor show, designed by Philippe Starck It has been confirmed that Starck, better known for his product and furniture design, would unveil the ‘V+ by Starck' at the show's Green Pavilion. Lexus launches 'Design Matters' campaign
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Lexus has hosted an event called ‘Design Matters' in New York City, as part of a new strategy to showcase the brand's commitment to design. Toyota's global president Akio Toyoda attended the event along with Mark Templin, executive vice president of Lexus International, who said, "Lexus is expanding as a global company and we need to speak to a broad global audience. There's no better way to do that than through design." Templin used the event to announce its other design-related campaigns.
