This is a good used OMC Stringer 800 series V8 Upper Gearcase. Unit is a mechanical shift. Gear ratio is 21:17. Gears are in good shape, ball gear is approx 75%. Gear oil was free of contamination and unit pressure tested to 15psi without leaks. Unit has been repaired where the lift quadrant mounts (pictured). Very solid good working unit. Priced accordingly. BMW will launch around 200 i Pedelec electric scooters in London this summer as part of its fleet for the 2012 Olympic games. We've had a good chance to pore all over a prototype i Pedelec and can see what all the fuss is about. BMW is the sole provider of vehicles to London 2012 and will test a couple of hundred Pedelecs with athletes and organisers at the games.

Volvo is a bit of an enigma. The Chinese-owned Swedish automaker releases a stunning concept from time to time, and we're often pleasantly surprised by the Volvos that enter out test fleet, but it hasn't done much to generate sales numbers -- or buzz -- in the North American market. Maybe that's because Volvo is too busy looking down the road to focus on selling cars now.

Coventry University recently held its annual degree show, showcasing the works of more than 100 graduating students from the school's five different design disciplines: Automotive, Product, Vehicle, Transport and Boat Design. This year's show took place over two floors and two wings of the School of Art and Design's Maurice Foss building, adjacent to the famed Bugatti building, which houses the programs' digitizing and modeling laboratory. And with all the varied design disciplines mixed together, walking around the entire exhibition took rather a lot of time.
