Michelin Challenge Design - Deadline for entries April 16

You Can Design America's Next Iconic Vehicle Michelin Challenge Design - the global transportation design competition in its ninth year - is looking for America's next iconic vehicle.  Submissions for the 2009 program will be accepted through April 16, 2008. The winning designs will be evaluated for their uniqueness, emotional appeal, design courage and technical execution by a jury of automotive design professionals and receive prominent display in the MCD exhibit at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. New Jeep Grand Cherokee (2011): UK Price & Models

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee UK - Diesel only Interestingly, the pile of blurb we got in from Jeep UK on the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee made the assertion that Jeep “…invented the premium SUV (sport-utility vehicle) segment with the introduction of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.” Really? Still, we have a soft-spot for the big Yank-Tank that is the Jeep Grand Cherokee so we’ll put that statement down to nothing more than a bit of PR hubris, rather than a genuine claim. Much of what we know already about the new Grand Cherokee since it was revealed over a year ago remains unchanged with its arrival in the UK.

Renault Twingo concept

Renault has shown a production preview of the next Twingo, due to be replaced early next year. The new car eschews the monovolume of the outgoing model for a more conventional two-box, with friendliness being replaced with dynamism in the front graphic. This sporting theme is furthered by the dropped ride-height and large arches, and is complemented by a music theme.
