The cost depends on which type of primer you need. We offer a wide array of primer tailored for specifc applications. Here are some general recommendations: Epoxy Primer - Required for corrosion resistance and adhesion over bare metal. Urethane Primer Surfacer - Best for filling in small imperfections and easily sands to a smooth uniform surface. Urethane Sealer - Great choice if your paint is already in fair condition and you don't need body work. Available in a wide range of colors to reduce base color needs and reduce visibility of stone chips and gouges. It is impossible for us to test our products with every other brand of paint product so we can not guarantee it will work. Therefore, we only recommend you use our brands of products as a system. Is this kit enough paint to do my car? How much paint is required depends on the color you choose, the size of the vehicle you have, and how much of the vehicle you are painting. Generally speaking a car kit is typically enough to the outside of a mid sized vehicle plus 2 door jambs. If you have a larger vehicle, or you plan to paint inside the trunk, under the deck lid or hood or engine bay you need more paint. We recommend purchasing extra to have on hand in case you need it. Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.
ICEM Style creative design software launched
Mon, 26 Apr 2004ICEM Ltd, known for its ICEM Surf Class A surface development software, has launched ICEM Style, a new software product developed specifically for use by creative designers in the transportation design and industrial design industry. The launch presentation highlighted the integrated workflow from concept development in ICEM Style, through to refinement in ICEM Surf, enabling designers and engineers to share the same model data throughout the design process. According to ICEM, it is now possible, for the first time in a concept design tool, to design in a photo-realistic modelling environment, without using third-party visualisation products, or to wait for a static rendering to be generated.
