Lexus brings modified GS, LS concepts to SEMA 2012

Lexus has pulled the wraps off two modified concept cars at the 2012 SEMA show. The custom GS and LS saloons are part of a six-car exhibition at the Las Vegas-based event, marking six years of Lexus attendance at SEMA. What's new on the Lexus LS show car?

The covers will be whisked off this concept car at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2007 proving that, finally, Jaguar is throwing off its stuffy image after years of safe, retro-styled saloons. Although this tightly cropped teaser shot doesn't reveal the whole car, it's plain to see that the new S-type will look forwards, not over its shoulder at the famous saloons in Jag's potted history.

It’s the new entry-level package on the Megane Sport Tourer. But there’s nothing wrong with that, even if the ‘Extreme’ designation is a bit of an oxymoron (unless you think of it in terms of at the bottom extreme of the range).
