NOS / original / authentic 1955 Chevrolet Passenger Car Camshaft - 195 H.P / 8-Cylinder engine with mechanical Tappets, except the "high-lift" cam.

Part Number: 3836700  Casting Number 3836686. (Please see pictures showing casting numbers)

Records Indicate:  Intake lift .336 / Exhaust lift .343 / Intake Duration 246 / Exhaust duration 246 / Rocker ratio 1.5.

Never been ground / used. Vintage Chevy / GM NOS part. Still has the foundry "Bule" and Yellow" paint markings.

Comes with an original "GM Genuine Parts" shipping tube. But note that the part # on the tube (3711354) is not this Camshaft's . That was for the "55 / '56 long-duration, high-lift camshaft. Not this Camshaft listed in this auction.

Also...I understanding that Camshaft part# 3713452 has been superceded by this Camshaft (3836700 / 3836686)

Our family has had this for a while. Part of the acculimation of parts that seem to "mysteriously grow on its own".

Cool vintage Chevrolet piece.
