Up for auction is a pair of the lower fiberglass interior quarter trim panels for a 65 or 66 mustang fastback. The panel with the black spray paint is in fair condition will the grain texture is poor condition. The fiberglass is dried out which caused the fiberglass to crumble a bit exposing the fiberglass strains. This panel would have to be repaired and made to be smooth with no texture. It also has one area with a chip in the fiberglass that would also need to be repaired, along with the front tab being broken off which is very common. The second panel has a heavy coat of white paint that may be hiding the same conditions as the panel with black spray paint. It also has a small hole in one area and the front tab is also broken off.

The good news is these panels do not have speaker holes cut in them and could very well be used in a car if you don't care about the textured finish. I was going to make them smooth myself, but found a better set locally. I'm selling these AS IS WITH NO RETURNS because shipping will not be cheap. ASK AS MANY QUESTIONS AS YOU NEED AND PLEASE REQUEST MORE PICTURES IF YOU NEED THEM BEFORE BIDDING. I REPEAT I WILL NOT ALLOW THESE TO BE RETURNED BECAUSE I'M OFFERING FREE SHIPPING. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.

Aspid tease all new sports car

Wed, 23 May 2012

Aspid tease Aspid (which were IFR Aspid) – Spanish sports car maker – is teasing a new sports car to be revealed in the next few weeks. Aspid is a Spanish maker of sports cars responsible for the rather retro – at least in styling – SuperSport model. We caught up with the Aspid SuperSport at Salon Prive a couple of years ago, and we were impressed by a Caterham-style car offering very high levels of fit and finish and a remarkable 0-62mph in under 3 seconds.

Used car market pressure eases

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

AN INCREASE in the number of used cars coming into the market has “taken the edge off prices” and calmed some corners of the industry, according to used car pricing experts CAP. A greater influx of part-exchange cars arriving at dealers is partly responsible, and with many franchised dealers focusing for the time being on selling those vehicles, competition to acquire stock on the open market has decreased. CAP reports that the pressure has been lifted on some dealers who had become frustrated at how expensive it was becoming to source cars at fair prices.
