These buckles were included (not installed) in a 1957 Thunderbird that I purchased in 1974. Knowing they were not correct for the car,  I did not include them in the sale of the car in 1983.  The buckles are rare and in good to very good condition, (not mint) however, they could be highly improved by some quality time at the buffing wheel.  One buckle is in slightly better condition than the other.  The lesser of the two has some small pits and imperfections that I believe could be buffed out.  Please enlarge and examine the pictures carefully.  The springs in both parts are completely intact and have a strong and positive feel.  The Rotunda Part Number: BN-706108-B is cast into the buckles. I am not a vintage Ford expert but I will be happy to answer any questions that I can.  I am just an aging car enthusiast cleaning out my parts shelves.

Audi Sport Quattro concept (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

The Audi Sport Quattro Concept will be shown at Frankfurt as a spiritual successor to the 1980s rallying legend. This time, the road-going version can muster 0-62mph in a stonking 3.7sec and top 189mph thanks to its 690bhp drivetrain.  Haven’t we seen an Audi Quattro Concept before? Yes – but this is a different take on the 2010 Quattro concept, and may make it into showrooms.

Button wins in Istanbul

Sun, 07 Jun 2009

Jenson Button wins the Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul for Brawn GP Contrary to recent form, Button failed by a whisker to take pole position in Q3 qualifying yesterday, having to cede that to Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull. But second is still a good place to start, and Jenson signalled his intentions on the start line by sitting in his Brawn at a slight angle, looking for all the world as if he intended driving straight across Vettel from the start. That plan didn”t work, but it was Vettel and Button who pulled away from the pack at the start and, on turn nine, Vettel wilted under pressure, went wide and Button took the lead, to drive flawlessly to the end to claim 10 points and first place.
