This auction is for 1 set of 4 nice original early 15" x 7" rally rims, part number stamped . See pictures, these need paint for show, but are not rusty and appear to be original paint, 1 still has the NOS part number sticker on the inside...see picture. These are slightly different from the next run 15 x 7's, and even more different from the repop's. See my other auctions for original 1970-1 center caps and 15" trim rings. I am selling off all the extra parts I have nd don't need for the cars I have now. Shipping will be a flat $70 shipped UPS insured in the lower 48 states. Brabus tunes the Mercedes-Benz SLK for more power, better handling
Fri, 05 Aug 2011Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus is going to work on the new SLK200 and SLK250 roadsters, adding some power, exterior modifications and suspension upgrades. The four-cylinder SLKs aren't for sale in the United States right now, but the SLK250 is scheduled to arrive by February 2012. Currently no kits are offered for the V6-powered SLK350.
Beware valet parking insurance loophole

Drivers are being warned to check their insurance policies before handing over their car keys to valet parking attendants as more than half (51%) of the UK’s motor insurance policies do not cover this service. While valet parking companies provide insurance cover for their employees to drive your car, many insurance policies do not cover ‘damage to vehicle while in the control of valet parking staff.’ This means if your car is damaged or written off while it’s being parked or retrieved by valet parking staff, you could be left seriously out of pocket with no claim against the valet parking company.
Car giant starts recruitment phase
Wed, 19 Feb 2014CAR GIANT Jaguar Land Rover has started recruiting for the first phase of 1,700 new jobs to support production of new vehicles. The company said 500 production staff will be taken on as part of expansion plans at its factory in Solihull, West Midlands. The carmaker is investing £1.5 billion in the UK and plans to increase its workforce at Solihull to almost 8,000.
