Hamilton wins Singapore Grand Prix
Sun, 27 Sep 2009Lewis Hamilton take victory for a resurgent McLaren at Singapore The biggest losers of the day were probably Red Bull, who failed miserably to take advantage of Button’s poor grid position (and that of Barrichello, who started in 10th after a five place penalty for a new gearbox). Vettel managed to damage his car on the kerbs and acquired a drive-through penalty after crossing the white line exiting the pits. Team mate Webber’s brakes gave up on lap 49 and he went home with nothing to show for all his efforts in Singapore.

Tue, 15 Sep 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 15 September 2009 10:00 Not one to miss out on a party, Ford gatecrashed the French brands’ electric carfest at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. The new Focus BEV (battery electric vechicle) is a working prototype and not bound for production – yet, although that is the longer term intention. A demo programme starts with 15 cars hitting UK roads in 2010.
2014 Skoda Octavia Scout revealed ahead of Geneva Motor Show debut
Tue, 11 Feb 2014The 2014 Skoda Octavia Scout (pictured) debuts at Geneva A more rugged, pseudo off-road estate car is a sensible compromise for buyers looking for a bit more ruggedness than a regular estate car offers, but without going to a full-blow SUV or Crossover. So it makes a lot of sense for Skoda to go the ‘Allroad’ route with the Octavia Combi (estate) and give it a touch more rufty tufty and a new name – the Skoda Octavia Scout. The 2014 Octavia Scout has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month and comes with all the butch add-ons you’d expect.
