College Exhibition: Hongik University Degree Show 2006
Wed, 31 Jan 2007Senior transportation Design students at Korea's Hong-ik University presented their works in the School's Graduate Exhibition 2006 held in October. Running from March 4th to July 10th, the Renault-sponsored project with the theme 'My First Renault', gave the students a fairly open brief to design a personal vision of a Renault vehicle of the near future. The students also had a presentation with Patrick Le Quement, the Renault senior vice president, corporate design, Anthony Grade (vice president) and Jean-Marie Hurtiger, the executives of Renault-Samsung Motor's in their design center in Gi-heung, Korea in November.
Race2Recovery: Wounded vets to compete in Dakar Rally
Thu, 13 Dec 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally will include five teams of disabled veterans in its 575-entry roster. An organization called Race2Recovery will enter 24 men and women, most veterans of the US and British armed forces and most of them wounded in battle. They'll take to the wilderness of South America with the rest of the competitors on Jan.
L.A. auto show: Honda to uncork ‘P-NUT’ design study
Wed, 18 Nov 2009Honda will tear the cover off a futuristic, ultra-compact urban coupe on Dec. 2 at the Los Angeles auto show. It’s called the Personal-Neo Urban Transport, or P-NUT, and Honda is billing this as an aggressive design study.
