Here is a pair of 1949 Pontiac wing windows in good used condition. These may fit other years makes and models but I'm not sure. They are solid, no rust, one glass is cracked and both have imperfections around the edges. The chrome is nice, i see one ding on the pillar on one, the locking latches are nice and work as they should, the rubber is still supple and not all cracked. Thee will need some work to restore but are good overall for how old they are. They weigh about 12 lbs combined. E-mail with questions and please check out my other auctions!

Peugeot 3008 – the first official pictures

Wed, 14 Jan 2009

The Peugeot 3008 is, according to Peugeot, a cross between an SUV, MPV and a hatchback. Really? If that’s the market it’s going for then I suppose it’s after the likes of the Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen Tiguan, but it doesn’t look like it fits.

White Van Man 'worst for tailgating'

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

MOTORISTS should beware of White Van Man on their tail, according to a survey of thousands of accidents. Van drivers were 47% more likely to be involved in a crash when they were following other drivers too closely, the survey by AXA Business Insurance found. The survey also found van drivers were much more likely than other drivers to crash while reversing, doing a U-turn and changing lanes, while they were more liable than other road users to get tired or distracted.

Bristol Cars sold to China. Possibly.

Bristol Cars - is it a Chinese Takeaway Earlier this month we reported the sad demise of the quirky and eccentric supercar maker that is Bristol cars, forced in to administration through a shortage of equally eccentric millionaires to buy their creations from another time. The good news is that they still look like a viable entity if they’re properly marketed, so we didn’t expect it to be too long before a buyer popped up and grabbed the Bristol Cars name, its Kensington showrooms and the handful of staff left. So we weren’t surprised to get an email this morning from China telling us the press there are reporting that the Xinjiang No1 Tractor Company – a State-owned maker of tractors (you’d never have guessed) – had snapped up Bristol Cars from the administrators.
