FANS OF BBC hit Top Gear will be able to experience the white-knuckle thrill of spinning round the programme's test track driven by The Stig, as well as driving laps themselves. Umea Institute of Design prepares for annual Degree Exhibition

Another end of term approaches and the Masters students from the Umea Institute of Design in the north of Sweden have just presented a preview of their final thesis projects. There are 22 graduating students in total, eight of whom are from the Masters course in Transportation Design. Transportation Design is one of three MA courses offered at the Umea Institute of Design - the others are Advanced Product Design and Interaction Design.

Mexico plant to build Honda Fit for U.S. market

Honda Motor Co. has confirmed it will build its Fit small car at its new plant in Mexico for export to the United States and other markets, as it expands its local production footprint to combat the Japanese yen's profit-eating strength. The plant, near Celaya, Guanajuato, will begin operation in 2014 with a capacity of 200,000 vehicles a year.
