This listing features a 1980 Volkswagen Mk1 "Caddy", with under 70K original miles.  I will sell it complete (as shown in pics in conjunction with description below), or I will sell parts off of it.  If you are interested in purchasing vehicle whole, PLEASE message me to determine what has been sold off vehicle since pics were last taken!  It has many good salvageable parts.  I'm not my very motivated to sell vehicle complete, should be pretty obvious to most from price...hehe.  Hey, its worth more in parts though, and condition is everything!

Check out the pictures in the photobucket link below!

CONDITION:  Several items have already been sold off this truck, including the following (and possibly more).  Tail gate, tail lights, front grille (have another one though for sale separately, in nicer shape), rear sliding window, chrome mirrors on door, inner door panels, side marker reflectors, license plate lights.  The hood, not shown in the pics, is still present.  Please note the LF strut tower is GONE, and one or more wheels is frozen up.  Catlaytic converter is cut off, no battery.

Please message me with any parts requests & we can set up a Buy-It-Now listing on here for you!

We are currently parting out numerous older Volkswagens (and the occasional non-VW), please write with your parts requests, thanks.

There is currently no title with this vehicle, but we are working on locating it.  It will be sold with a Bill of Sale if the title cannot be located.

This is a salvage vehicle and is being sold for parts only.  It is not operational or street legal.  Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or put on a trailer.  This item is NOT eligible for the eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Protection Program.

Infiniti recalls Q50 sedans over steer-by-wire system

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Infiniti is recalling a number of its new 2014 Q50 sedans over a fault in its steer-by-wire system. The recall concerns Q50 sedans equipped with Direct Adaptive Steering that have received a software version which may disable the power steering software when the engine compartment reaches freezing temperatures. There's a mechanical backup system to prevent steering failure that kicks in via a clutch if the Direct Adaptive Steering were to fail, but the NHTSA notes that this backup may not engage in time if the Direct Adaptive Steering fails, increasing the chance of a crash.
