I have a brand new Perrin Downpipe (forward section/shorty) for an '02-'07 WRX or STi.
The box has been opened so I could inspect the downpipe and take photos. Other than that, the downpipe has been sitting on a shelf.
This downpipe is full stainless steel with a high flow catalytic converter.

Carbon fiber's cost is falling dramatically, thanks to production advances that let suppliers speed the material's finicky, and costly, curing process. One technological breakthrough that makes carbon-fiber auto parts more affordable may come from a process used to make carbon-fiber golf clubs.
Mazda opens new plant in Salamanca, Mexico
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Mazda Motor Corp. chairman Takashi Yamanouchi opened the company's new small-car assembly plant in Mexico today, calling it the company's "most important global strategic base." The factory, which will produce up to 230,000 vehicles each year, is a cornerstone of the structural reform plan "upon which the very future of company hinges," Yamanouchi said in remarks prepared for the opening ceremony. "Mazda's Structural Reform Plan, upon which the very future of the company hinges, positions this plant as our most important global strategic base," Yamanouchi said of the factory, which is about three hours northwest of Mexico City in Guanajuato State.
