For auction is a brand new clip-on, out-of-the-way, hands-free RED headlamp that easily attaches to your headset or head cap and can be adjusted to any angle for perfect viewing. You can also clip it to other surfaces in your cockpit such as your visor, glareshield, or seat belts. It adds just the right amount of RED light for improved reading of your sectional maps, approach plates, or even your airplane instruments.  They weigh less than one ounce and operate on three button batteries that are easily purchased anywhere.  Just press the button on the rear of the lamp and the light turns on and off.  We've used these headlamps for night flying and they are a life-saver.  The red light is used to relax the pupil and allow you to retain your night vision at its maximum.

Arizona auctions week gets optimistic start

It's auction time in Arizona, and Barrett-Jackson has seen some numbers grow. Monday's preview day drew record crowds--a reported 39,000 attendees--a whopping 85 percent increase from 2010. The weather might have played a part, as for the first time in quite a few years, temps have been in the Chamber of Commerce-like low 70s during the days with cool nights.
