The CD-R5 remote adds wireless control to your Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD, AVIC-N1, AVIC-N2, or AVIC-N3 audio/video receiver.
 You and your passengers will be able to adjust the volume, jump between tracks, and control DVD playback from anywhere in the car.


Compatibility: This remote will work with many of the Pioneer A/V and navigation head units, including (but limited to) the AVH-P5700DVD, AVIC-N1, AVIC-N2, and the AVIC-N3. Please check your receiver's accessory list to confirm compatibility.

Mode Switch: The remote has a three position slide switch on the side to change the unit the remote is controlling. In AVH mode the CD-R5 controls the head unit, in DVD mode it controls a connected pioneer DVD player, and TV mode it controls a connected Pioneer TV tuner.

Remote Buttons:

  • Volume +/-: increases/decreases volume
  • ATT: quickly mutes volume
  • Source Button: selects source, hold down to turn unit off
  • Joystick: four directions, used to navigate menus and control transport
  • Direct: used to engage direct number input
  • Bookmark: mark a point on a DVD
  • Back: return to the previous screen
  • Band: change bands or playback modes
  • Entertainment: change displays or discs
  • Forward: fast forward
  • Stop: stop playback
  • Next: next track, chapter, etc
  • Clear: cancel direct input
  • Number (0-10): numbers for direct input
  • Previous: previous track, chapter, etc
  • Reverse: fast reverse
  • Play/Pause: toggles between play and pause
  • Angle: change viewing angle on a multi-angle DVD
  • Step: slow motion and frame advance
  • Subtitle: change subtitle language
  • Display: changes display
  • Audio: change audio language
  • Return: display PlayBack Control
  • Menu: DVD menu
  • Top Menu: DVD top menu

Spy photographer Brenda Priddy serves up a fresh look at the Ferrari F450, the car set to replace the F430 in Ferrari's lineup later this year. From this prototype, spotted being loaded into a hauler, we see that the styling is updated but not a radical departure from the F430. The new model designation comes from an increase in displacement for the V8 to 4.5 liters.

If Helen of Troy's face launched a thousand ships, Marcello Gandini's Alfa Romeo Carabo concept from 1968 most certainly launched two decades' worth of wedgy, mid-engine machines, a number of them penned by Gandini himself during his tenure at Bertone. This car, however, is not that car. This one was built in California, by legendary car builder (and father of Chip) Sam Foose back in 1972.
