Fisker Surf
Wed, 14 Sep 2011Fisker has unveiled its new eco-friendly plug-in hybrid Surf vehicle at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. The Surf, which the company claims is the world's first electric luxury/sports automobile, follows up the Fisker Karma's electric vehicle with extended range, but has additional cargo capacity and load carrying capabilities. The Surf weighs in at only 66 pounds more than the Karma sedan, despite increased glass and bodywork.
Lexus prices RX 450h hybrid ute, IS convertible
Fri, 24 Apr 2009Lexus announced pricing for two of its spotlight vehicles for 2010, the RX 450h hybrid ute and the IS convertible. The RX 450h will start at $42,535 for the front-wheel-drive version and $44,125 for all-wheel drive. The vehicle reaches dealers mid-summer.
Bristol Cars is sold to Frazer-Nash
Wed, 20 Apr 2011Bristol Cars has been sold. Kamkorp Autokraft, part of the Frazer-Nash group, has announced it has successfuly acquired the assets of Bristol Cars from the administrators. Bristol entered administration last month, and CAR reported on a potential sale last week.
