Heathrow Pod: Driverless cars ferry airport passengers

Heathrow Pod - driverless transport at Heathrow's T5 Heathrow Terminal  5 (T5) didn’t have the easiest of starts, with endless teething problems making air travel even more fraught than it already is. But things have improved a lot, and T5 is now one of the better places to depart from, if depart you must. And from today it should get easier, with the launch of the Heathrow Pod shuttle system.

The motoring world remains full of surprises – here we have a pair of classic Jaguars that had apparently been all but forgotten until they were pulled out of their respective hiding places earlier this year. Range Rover (2011): first pictures, new V8

Land Rover might only have revised the Range Rover last summer, but there’s now a new version, complete with a bigger and better 4.4-litre TDV8, plus it's available as a limited-run Autobiography Black special edition to celebrate the car’s 40th birthday. For a start the engine has grown from 3.6 to 4.4-litres, but still retains the twin sequential turbochargers. That means 309bhp (up from 267bhp), while the torque figures climbs from 472lb ft to 516lb ft.
