Vauxhall calls its new 2013 city car the Adam

Vauxhall has revealed the name for its new city car – the car previously dubbed Junior will in fact be called the Adam. It’s one of the more oddball car names we’ve heard recently. As well as announcing the Adam name, Vauxhall today issued two photographs of a disguised city car, giving us the first official glimpse of its new hatchback.

The 2010 Fiat Doblo I know, you’ve been waiting for the Fiat Doblo. The Doblo is another of those van based mini people carrier things, designed to transport as much as possible for as little outlay as can be managed. The name suits it (you could see Dobby the Elf behind the wheel) but if your need is to shift your brood and their belongings around as cheaply as possible the Doblo – just like the equally daftly-named Peugeot Bipper Tepee – could fit the bill.

Number one of ten limited-edition Brabus EV12s struck a brooding figure at the tuner’s stand – hardly surprising with a 6.3-litre bi-turbo V12 under the bonnet and a £440,000 price tag. The E-class has been transformed into a tarmac-shredding supercar-chaser thanks to the introduction of a newly developed SV12 R bi-turbo engine which, Brabus claims, was implanted under the bonnet with 'almost surgical precision'.
