This engine is already taken apart but all the parts appear to be present- not responsible if anything is missing or doesn't work. I bought this engine already taken apart and never used it.
Warranty:No Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

For sale is one 1973 Pontiac 455 engine. Casting number is 485428 in the block. Cast into each head is A168 D N 6X GM7. Is disassembled but includes everything I think-the heads, pistons, crank and camshafts, oil pan & pump, rods, lifters, flex plate, timing cover, and other parts. This engine will need to be built- cleaned, bored, etc. Was advised this block was never bored. The previous owner took it to a local machine shop for disassembly and inspection so they saw it (have paperwork for this). He never used it and I don't think I will either now (I have ended up putting too much money into my 350 and entire project). I was going to put it in my Lemans- would be great for a GTO (or clone) or any other Pontiac. These are getting hard to find. Can text me at (904) 586-6306.  I can drop it all off at a shipper of your choice in Jacksonville, Florida but you have to make the arrangements and I won't crate it.  Or you can just pick it up.  Thanks.

Volvo's autonomous car is boring enough to work

Fri, 16 May 2014

Volvo is a bit of an enigma. The Chinese-owned Swedish automaker releases a stunning concept from time to time, and we're often pleasantly surprised by the Volvos that enter out test fleet, but it hasn't done much to generate sales numbers -- or buzz -- in the North American market. Maybe that's because Volvo is too busy looking down the road to focus on selling cars now.

LA Motor Show: Huge numbers define new Mercedes S 65 AMG

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

TWELVE cylinders, two turbochargers, 5,980 cubic centimetres, 621bhp and 738lb.ft of torque are numbers designed to catch the eye. These are the figures boasted by the new Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG, which has made its motor show debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The stats are good enough to endow the standard-bearing saloon with epic performance, including a 0-62mph time of just 4.3 seconds.

Rhonda's Renaissance Part 1

There are few bigger moments in a project car's resurrection than when the paint and finish are chosen. Let's face it, 95 percent of people are only going to see the exterior. Today's builders are inundated with choices ranging from hue and texture to material and, of course, cost.
