Porsche 356 Three Piece Engine Case 1600s Matching on 2040-parts.com

Here is a very nice, in "spec." Porsche 356 engine case. Number P*85273*, this is a matching numbers case with no machining done nor needed. This case was manufactured in late September of 1959 (39/59) and would have been found in 1960 model year Porsches; e.g. "B" Drauz Roadster ((this engine would have been in a chassis number near 87,230(our estimates please verify with Kardex or C of A for your Porsche)), Reutter Cabriolet (chassis number near 152,830) or Reutter Coupe (chassis number near 109,755). It is a 1600S or Super engine which was the top of line 356 engine then (other than the "Carrera's 4 cam!).  As one can see the case casting number is 35285.
