For sale is a used Porsche 911 clock.  This was removed from a 1972 Porsche 911, but will work on other year and model Porsche’s.  The part number on the face of the clock is 911 641 701 00.  The clock is date stamped 3/72.  We tested this on a battery and it worked, but we do not know how accurate it is.  The black bezel also needs to be re painted.  We are selling this item as is as pictured.

Ford burns through $5.5 billion in 4th quarter as losses mount

Ford Motor Co., the only U.S. automaker operating without federal loans, burned through $5.5 billion in cash during the final three months of 2008 as losses mounted. Ford finished the year with cash reserves of $13.4 billion.

From black-and-white photographs of some of rock and roll's greatest performers to thoughtful, provocative portrayals of the automobile, Jim Marshall captured enduring images of two of America's greatest passions. Now, for the first time since he died earlier this year, some of his original photographs will be auctioned to benefit his favorite charity, MSFriends. Two portfolios of Marshall's work from the launch of Nissan's iconic GT-R supercar will be sold at a July 24 fundraiser called Rock for MS at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

Daimler to build a fifth Mercedes-Benz model at its Alabama plant

Daimler AG said it will invest $350 million to produce a fifth Mercedes-Benz model at its factory in Vance, Ala., starting in 2015. The investment will create an additional 400 jobs at the plant. The company did not provide details about the additional vehicle.
