Excellent condition original cam with nice lobes and oil pump drive slot

Porsche 356SC 1963-65 and 912 1965-69 Camshaft in excellent used condition showing no wear on the cam lobes and very little wear at all in the cam slot that drives the oil pump gear. The motor that this cam was removed from was a 70,000 original mile Florida rust bucket. Notice the number "16" on the end of the cam and this tells you the cam is a 356SC & 912 cam. It's going to happen sooner than we though -- the machines are going to take over. No need to jump in your car and drive to your uncle's fallout shelter where he's been stockpiling expired cans of tomato soup, though, at least not just yet. The machines in question are Volvos (pretty benign, right?), and the place they'll be taking over is Volvo's home town of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Volvo details new Drive-E powertrains

Volvo released details of its new Drive-E family of powertrains on Friday. Vehicles with the extra-efficient engines will arrive at dealerships early next year. Drive-E is also Volvo's name for all of its green innovations, encompassing everything from a sustainable manufacturing process, use of recycled materials and low-emission powertrains.
