If you ask Ford Motor Co. about the base price of the company’s redesigned 2013 Escape crossover, it will tell you that at $23,295, including shipping, it’s $200 less than the outgoing model. The problem is, that’s not quite true.

The Lamborghini Egoista (which translate as the Lamborghini ‘Selfish’) gets its name because it is designed as a single seater, purely for the pleasure of the driver. Designed by Walter De Silva, the Egoista sports dramatic styling that is said to be inspired by the Apache helicopter (and isn’t entirely successful – the Apache looks better) and extensively uses carbon fibre with a canopy that can be removed for real single-seat fresh air thrills.
