BOTH OF THESE BANKS ARE FROM A 1972 911T 2.4 LITER ENGINE, YOU ARE LOOKING AT A TOTAL OF 6 REBUILT CYLINDER HEADS WITH TWO "T" CAMSHAFTS, TWO CAM TOWERS, ALL TWELVE ROCKERS AND SHAFTS. THE VALVE JOB HAS BEEN DONE WITH ALL NEW VALVE GUIDES,  STEM SEALS AND A THREE ANGLE VALVE SEAT CUT WITH CUT VALVES TO MATCH. STEM HEIGHT HAS BEEN SET TO SPECS. . CAMS HAVE ALL GOOD LOBES AND ALL TWELVE ROCKERS ARE PRETTY FLAWLESS. CAM TOWERS ARE TORQUED DOWN TO SPEC ON MY JIG AND BOTH SIDES ARE READY TO DROP IN PLACE. BMW are developing a small hybrid with Hybrids may be just a passing fad, but that’s not stopping car makers piling in to them in droves to battle CO2 and emissions targets. For BMW, their hybrid foray has so far been limited to the top end of their range, but that is set to change. We already know that BMW are developing a small, front wheel drive range which will sit underneath the current 1-Series, and it’s for these cars – and possibly for MINI too – that BMW has embarked on a partnership agreement with PSA (Peugeot Citroen) to jointly develop a small hybrid.

Mazda opens new plant in Salamanca, Mexico

Mazda Motor Corp. chairman Takashi Yamanouchi opened the company's new small-car assembly plant in Mexico today, calling it the company's "most important global strategic base." The factory, which will produce up to 230,000 vehicles each year, is a cornerstone of the structural reform plan "upon which the very future of company hinges," Yamanouchi said in remarks prepared for the opening ceremony. "Mazda's Structural Reform Plan, upon which the very future of the company hinges, positions this plant as our most important global strategic base," Yamanouchi said of the factory, which is about three hours northwest of Mexico City in Guanajuato State.
