This auction is for a Used but Excellent Condition Porsche OEM, Factory, Genuine, Equipment 911-996 and 986 Boxster/Caymen Black Leather Color Handbrake Lever. This Handbrake Lever was removed from a 2004 Porsche 911-996 Turbo. The Lever is used and was replaced with a Wood Finish Handbrake Lever since the owner of the car wanted a Wood Finish interior design. This Handbrake Lever will fit 1999 to 2005 Porsche 911-996 Turbo, and 1999 to 2004 Carrera, Carrera C2, C2S, C4, C4S, Targa, Turbo, Turbo S, GT3, GT3 RS, GT2. It will also fit 2005 to 2011 Boxster/Cayman 986 Boxster and Boxster S. This Handbrake Lever is like New.

Mark Webber is on pole for 2013 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Mark Webber may be about to end his F1 career, but that hasn’t stopped him competing. And compete he has at the Yas Marina Track by beating team mate Sebastian Vettel in to second place and claiming pole position at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Behind the two Red Bulls is the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg followed by Lewis Hamilton (who spun on his final qualifying lap) with Kimmi Raikkonen – who is far from a happy bunny – starting tomorrow’s 2013 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in fifth place.

Manufacturers have been trying to make their racers more economical for some time now; Audi and Peugeot have produced diesel Le Mans winners and CAR reviewed the Porsche GT3 R Hybrid in the June 2010 issue, but this the most recent fully electric offering from Norwegian company Think.   Think has followed the traditional road-racer conversion for this one-off prototype, by stripping out most of the interior and space for the passenger, using Perspex instead of glass in the windows, installing a solitary lightweight bucket seat and lowering the centre of gravity. The company claims the diet reduces the Think's weight by nearly 70kg; that's the same saving as a Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra, remember.

Mercedes plans electric version of SLS AMG supercar

Huge news at Mercedes-Benz: Engineers from its AMG performance-car offshoot are developing a plug-in electric version of the upcoming SLS supercar as part of a broad-based efficiency program to place the automaker at the leading edge of socially acceptable performance-car motoring. Tentatively planned for production in 2015, the new zero-emission supercar draws heavily on the production version of the yet-to-be-fully-revealed SLS scheduled to get its first public outing at the Frankfurt motor show on Sept. 15.
