********PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING*********

Up for auction is a powder coating service with optional refundable core deposit on a valve cover from a b18c vtec engine that will fit all vtec engines including GSR, SI, and Type-R. Please check with your own engine type before bidding. The valve cover will be powder coated a color of your choice that I stock. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee. Please remember this is a SERVICE with core exchange option. All products powder coated by us are hot tanked to remove thick built up grease normally found in valve covers. This is important as it removes residue that causes blasting media to get stuck in baffles which will eventually wear down your engine. Next the original finish is stripped by media blasting. The part is than cleaned with dry air to remove excess grit and finally pretreated then coated to the current condition free of imperfections. If you have ANY questions, we can be reached at (973)208-6814, M-F 9am-7pm EST.

Some examples of colors i have in stock are mirror black, mirror blue, mirror red, mirror yellow, mirror orange, mirror white, wrinkle black, dark wrinkle blue, light wrinkle blue, wrinkle red, dormant cherry red, light dormant anodized blue, candy red, candy blue, candy green, candy lime green, dormant granny smith green, dormant dark blue sparkle, dormant burnt orange red, dormant candy purple, dormant candy orange, metallic silver, gunmetal grey metallic, metallic green, black chrome, gold metallic, galvanized aluminum, flat black, semi gloss satin black, neon green, neon pink, pearl white, silver flake clear, and much much more! PLEASE email me for pics of various colors or with request for other colors not listed. I have tons of colors, to many to list. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee.

If you would like a clear top coat applied or are choosing a candy color, this will be an additional $20. The clear coat brings out a even glossier finish, helps protect, and is HIGHLY recommended. Clear coat MUST be purchased with Chrome, black chrome, ALL metallics, and ALL dormants. The high bidder also gets the choice of having the tops of the lettering sanded to expose bare metal and give it a contrast in color FREE of charge.

The refundable core deposit works like this: You pay an ADDITIONAL $80 to the item total, plus shipping. I then powder coat a valve cover that I have in stock and ship it to you. You install it and send me your stock valve cover back. I then refund that extra $80 you had paid. You may also send me your valve cover to do the work on, and avoid paying the refundable core deposit. The core must be free from ANY modification, cracks, relativly deep gashes, broken spark plug cover holes, broken tabs, broken off bolts, broken oil baffles etc. IT MUST ALSO BE THE SAME STYLE COVER THAT I SEND YOU. If you are unsure if your core is usable or suitable, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND ASK FIRST. All cores MUST be returned within 2 weeks of delivary. DO NOT BID if you cannot abide by these rules.

New Jersey residents must pay 7% sales tax on their orders. Due to heavy work loads at times, coating could take 3-10 BUSINESS days to ship from the time of payment but in most cases it will be only 3-4 days. Also, full payment MUST be received within 4 days of auction end or non paying bidder claim will be filed with ebay. Our company beleives in quality and we will do what we can to help. Thanks and if you have any questions PLEASE send me a message.

BMW Alpina B7 – the closest you’ll get to an M7

Sat, 09 Jan 2010

The BMW Alpina B7 - now available in the US BMW has made it clear that they won’t be making an ‘M’ version of the 7 Series. I know, we’ve hear that all before with the X5, but they seem adamant. In fact, one of our readers questioned our story about ‘No BMW M7‘ a couple of months ago after his local dealer said the M7 was coming in Spring 2010.

Mini Superleggera Vision Concept – a very different MINi Concept – at Villa D’Este

Sun, 25 May 2014

The Mini Superleggera Vision Concept (pictured) is a Villa D’Este special We’ve had our fill of VW Group concepts for Worthersee – like the Skoda CitiJet, Yeti XTreme and Audi A3 Clubsport - this last week, but now we’ve got a concept from MINI that isn’t just the usual slightly left-field take on a regular MINI, but a real original to grab our interest – the Mini Superleggera Vision Concept – and it’s heading to Villa D’Este. Built in collaboration with Touring Superleggera – which has built stunning concepts like the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante - the new MINI is a retro-looking small roadster with lots of historic design cues but with an EV powertrain under its clothes. There’s a fin on the back that looks like a Jaguar D Type, a pair of swage lines down the side, a long bonnet, a back end that has a hint of Aston Martin and even Union Jacks in the tail lights.
