Here is a complete Original  Power Vent Window System for GM cars of the years 1965 1966 1967 and 1968 such as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac.  The motors were completely rebuilt and have gears with steel teeth that should never wear out again.  The cases were stripped to bare metal.  Then a coat of phosphoric acid was applied to prevent rust.  The wiring harness is NEW and made from 14 gauge THHN stranded wire using all GM connectors. The driver side 2-gang switch is NEW and the passenger side switch is NEW too.  The door panel retaining clips are included with both switches.  Also included are all 8 mounting screws as shown in the photos. The date codes on the motors are 10-66 and 8-65 with part numbers 4490687 and 4490686.  The system has been tested and works perfectly.  These are ready to bolt in and go. No disappointments here!  These motors are getting  rarer by the day.

They should fit any GM car, or possibly other cars that have front vent windows, from the years 1965 1966 1967 or 1968. Some GM cars even have vent windows up to 1972 and these will bolt right in.  Ask questions and do your homework to see if they will work for your car.

I can also supply you with just a new wiring harness if you only need that part of the system.

Volvo S60 Long Wheelbase (S60L) goes in to production

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Volvo S60 Long Wheelbase (S60L) goes in to production Volvo certainly seems to be on the up at the moment, with new cars like the new V40 challenging established premium compacts and a complete new engine range in the offing. That is, to a great degree, down to the ownership of Volvo by China’s Geely after a period of stagnation under Ford, and now the Chinese ownership is starting to make strides in China. Chinese sales for Volvo are growing, and that’s going to be helped by a new long wheelbase version of the S60, built for the Chinese market in China and due to debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show later this month.

Lexus LS 600h L Review & Road Test (2011)

Lexus LS 600h Review For a car with a made-up name and a short history, Lexus has made a real impact. Now perceived by few as being just the luxury arm of Toyota, it is almost universally accepted as a luxury marque in its own right. Which is no mean achievement for a brand which seems to have been developed – at a reported cost of more than $1 billion to Toyota – to build and market a car so firmly based on the Mercedes S Class it made some of the current Chinese cloners look like amateurs.
