Powerlet 5 Stage Digital Controller
for Heated Gloves, Socks or Insoles

EHPL317

Powerlet's new digital 5 position controller, specifically designed to control heated gloves, socks or insoles. Instead of having to plug in a separate long Y-cord, to connect the controller to the gloves, this controller has a Y-cord already built in. One less connection to deal with. A battery lead with 15 amp inline fuse is included. If you already have an SAE battery harness (from Battery tender or other brand charger), we have PAC-039 adapter available.

IIMPORTANT: This controller is NOT designed to power heated jackets or pants that require more than 5 amp. A 65 watt jacket or vest, at 13v draws 5 amp and would place this controller at maximum capacity. Most heated clothing is rated higher than 65 watts. For higher capacity controllers, check out our Warm & Safe Heat-Trollers.

This controller will work with heated gloves, socks or insoles from most manufacturers, including Gerbings, Warm & Safe, First Gear, Harley Davidson and many others.  p>

  • 5 settings with digital indicator display
  • Standard 2.5mm coax connectors
  • Built-in Glove Y cord
  • Battery lead included
  • Lanyard to keep controller within reach

Money woes may keep Converj from market

Mon, 19 Jan 2009

General Motors' tight finances may hold the automaker back from building a production version of the Cadillac Converj concept car. GM revealed the coupe, which would use the same technology as the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid, last week at the auto show here. GM designed the Converj so the production version--if it ever happens--will look "exactly like this," says Bob Lutz, GM's vice chairman of global product development.
