Brand New CR High Bend Pro Taper Contour Fat Bar 1-1/8" Handlebar in Silver  with Black Bar Pad.

CR High Dimensions:

  • Width: 800mm / 31.50"
  • Height: 95mm / 3.74"
  • Rise: 67mm / 2.64"
  • Clamp Area: 204mm / 8.03"
  • Sweep: 60mm / 2.37"

Pro Taper innovated the 1 1/8” fat bar design and are still the best. Their patented tapered bar design has many benefits. Oversized 1 1/8’s bars absorb more vibration than 7/8” designs. That means less fatiguing vibration transfer into hands and arm. The stronger base design allows the elimination of a cross bar giving the rider more space physically and visually. Pro Taper’s are also less prone to bend and give your bike an awesome look.

Features of Pro Taper Contour bars:

  • Made with aerospace 2014 aluminum.
  • New chemically-applied "un-sticker" graphics.
  • Knurled clutch side for secure grip hold.
  • The strongest oversized bar on the market.
  • 1/4" cut guides for precise modification.
  • Includes new high-density molded pad - a $16.95 value
  • Clamping area diameter is a massive 1.125" for greatly improved strength.
  • shot-peened and anodized finish for improved fatigue strength and corrosion resistance
  • Tapered outer wall from 1-1/8” to 7/8” for use with standard size grips and controls.
  • 35% lighter than conventional 7/8” bars.
  • Fits all MX bikes and ATV's with the right mount kit.

New Peugeot 308 (2014) revealed ahead of debut at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Mon, 13 May 2013

The new Peugeot 308 - revealed this morning ahead of a debut at Frankfurt in September and an on sale date in the UK of January 2014 – moves the 308 further towards the sector leaders with a new car – built on PSA’s new EMP2 platform – that’s a bit shorter and a bit lower than the old 308, and looks a lot slicker. The nose of the new 308 is lower than before and it sports Peugeot’s new, more refined, grill with slime LED headlights and manages to look like a convincing big brother to the new 208, with elements borrowed from the Onyx Concept too with the back end sporting LEDs that create three ‘Lion Claws’ in their graphic (like the Jaguar XJ). Inside, Peugeot have created what they call an ‘i-cockpit’ layout with a big centre console featuring a 9.7″ touchscreen that takes the place of most of the buttons you used to get, allowing Peugeot to create a dash with a sleek and uncluttered feel and heads-up instruments.

Multiple media outlets are reporting Lutz, 77, has changed course and will not retire from GM at the end of the year as he had planned. Automotive News, citing anonymous sources, says the veteran industry leader will stay on at the company, possibly in a marketing or communications role--and could have product input.

Audi R8 V10 sells for $500,000 at charity auction

Wed, 25 Feb 2009

Which would you pay more for--a V10-powered Audi R8 or the new Ferrari California? At the third annual Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance in Florida last weekend, the Audi R8--the first one in the United States equipped with the 5.2-liter V10--was the winner in a charity auction, selling for $500,000, well above the car's sticker price of $180,000.
