  • This is a brand new - never used COMPLETELY assembled Mopar subwoofer part # 82208162 (sold by Chrysler) that is designed, tested and built for a hatchback PT Cruiser - Left or Right Hand Steer. It has an 80-watt digital amplifier with an 8 inch subwoofer speaker. The amplifier is protected from the elements and cooled by the speaker mounted inside the enclosure.

 

  • The assembled enclosure is designed to go in the map pocket area behind the back seat on the driver's side without any loss of cargo space. It is genuine Mopar product built to demanding Chrysler specifications and rigorous OEM testing. This subwoofer works with all Hatchback PT Cruisers.

 

  •  Please state the model year of your PT, when you win the auction!   Depending upon your PT, this is  1 of 4 units each of which will plug into your PT's radio; 1) 2001 with factory radio, 2) 2002-2005 with factory radio, 3) 2006-2010 with factory radio, or 4) all years with subwoofer line level outputs.
  • The last picture shows a customer that modified the enclosure for an installation in the convertible.

The Russo and Steele auction site in Scottsdale, Ariz., was closed Friday morning--and may not open to the public at all during the day--as city and auction officials assess damage after high winds Thursday night ripped tents from their anchors and damaged several cars. Scottsdale police were not letting anyone into the site as collapsed tents and metal beams remain a hazard. One person was treated for minor injuries.
