Mercedes’ F125 concept might preview a hydrogen future for the automobile, but alongside this tech-laden show car Benz boss Dr Zetsche (with a little help from Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg) also unveiled a hardcore race car. It’s the Mercedes C-class Coupe AMG DTM, which will compete in next season’s Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters – think touring car, only with 4.0-litre V8s and rear-wheel drive chassis. Alfa owners throw a party for iconic brand

Alfa Romeo turns 100 on June 24, and the Capital Chapter of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (AROC) is celebrating the famed Milanese maker's centennial with a weeklong series of festivities called “Alfa Century 2010.” Centennial celebrations take place June 21-27 in numerous locations throughout the world including in Milan, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and during the Monterey weekend. But the Washington, D.C.-based AROC Capital Chapter's birthday bash represents the largest Alfa-exclusive commemoration in the United States. Chapter president Harlan Hadley said he expects a terrific turnout of Alfa Romeos from all eras of “Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili” (A.L.F.A.) history.

New 2014 Citroen C1 priced from £8,245 in UK

Fresh from its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Citroen has revealed that prices for its new C1 city car will start from £8,245 when it goes on sale in July. For that price, buyers will get the entry-level C1 Touch with the 1.0-litre VTi, 68hp engine. Touch is the lead-in trim level and includes remote central locking, electric front windows, six airbags, an MP3 compatible audio system, a USB socket and LED daytime running lights.
