The car's front - minus the hybrid-style closed grille - pretty much represents the new face of the sixth-generation production Jetta due on sale this November, and its syling is informed by the latest Polo as well as some recent concepts from the German brand. Vauxhall managed to release a chunk of details on the new Astra VXR as far back as November, but Geneva 2012 was the first time we’ve seen it (and sister car the Opel Astra OPC) in public.

The Turkish Grand Prix was about two different comings together – that of the fight between Red Bull and McLaren, but more significantly the meeting of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, who managed to meet on the track – in what looked like a Vettel mistake – whilst running first and second.
