Tokyo Auto Salon 2012: Video

The three-day Tokyo Auto Salon held every January is the equivalent of the SEMA show in the United States. Luke Huxham and his friends over at eGarage.com put together a colorful and varied display of the 2012 show in this video. From static displays, D1 drift exhibitions and the famed Tokyo Auto Salon models, the video gives you a feel for what is going on in Japan in the drift and aftermarket-tuning arenas.

When car design meets Art Nouveau

Gray Design has revealed a new concept car called the Nouvair, inspired by the Art Nouveau design movement. The Nouvair, a retro-looking coupé complete with a long hood and trailing rear end, takes inspiration from the techniques and flowing lines favored by one of the pioneers of the movement, Czech painter and decorative artist Alphonse Mucha. Despite the release of five pictures, Gray Design didn't reveal any technical details, just confirmation of its name and its inspiration.
