Daihatsu hits Indonesian show with eight new concept cars
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Daihatsu has launched a product offensive on the Indonesian International Motor Show in Jakarta, with eight concept cars all based around the theme ‘Compact ECO Mobility Best Friend'. As their endearingly Jenglish theme suggests, each of the cars is as compact as possible – Daihatsu is best known for producing Kei cars for its domestic Japanese market. (Incidentally the company's Tanto remains the most adorable of the Kei breed.) The UFC 2 (the blue car) is an evolution of the UFC that was show in 2012 and manages to squeeze seven seats into is handsomely contemporary body.
Analysis: why GM is pulling Chevrolet out of Europe

The Chevrolets we were getting were all made in Korea in the factories that used to be owned by Daewoo, except for the handful of Camaros and Corvettes, which were authentically American.
Video of Nissan GT-R’s record lap at the Nurburgring
Mon, 02 Jun 2008By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 02 June 2008 10:15 Remember we brought you news of the new Nissan GT-R setting a new Nurburgring record of 7min 29sec? It’s not the best quality (it seems to have been filmed from a TV monitor at a Nissan event), but you can see test driver Tochio Suzuki at work in this eight-minute clip as he masters the Nordschleife’s notorious corners.
