2013 Lamborghini Gallardo & Edizione Tecnica package

Lamborghini has revealed the 2013 Gallardo and  Edizione Tecnica package at Paris 2012 as a stop-gap before the new Gallardo in 2014. What the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo is is a fill-in between the current Gallardo and an all new model in 2014. So, a bit of a facelift to the range, some new colours and a sexy-sounding Italian add-on – the  Edizione Tecnica package – are the order of the day.

Opel hires 2011 CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition winner

Opel has taken on the winner of last year's Car Design News – Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition, Victor Uribe, to work as the latest addition to its creative design team. Uribe, a Transportation Design graduate from Istituto Europeo Di Design in Turin, Italy, emerged as the winner in the exterior design category for his submission, ‘Lounge in Motion', and won himself a six-month internship at the Opel/Vauxhall's European Design Studio in Rüsselsheim, Germany. New Suzuki Swift Sport (2012) revealed – well, one photo.

The first photo of the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport At the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring we got a sport concept of the new Suzuki Swift which Suzuki dubbed the Swift S-CONCEPT, even though we all knew it was a great big signpost towards the new Suzuki Swift Sport. And so it was, with the news last month (thanks to a an email from Suzuki in Russia announcing the 2012 Swift Sport ahead of the game) that the Swift Sport was heading for a production-ready debut and going on sale in 2012. So it’s not exactly a surprise that Suzuki has sent us a single image of the 2012 Swift Sport to tease us in to a full debut at Frankfurt.
