Lexus LF-LC turns Blue
Thu, 18 Oct 2012Lexus are taking the LF-LC Concept to the Australian Motor Show to show what they’ve done since Detroit. Painted it Blue seems to be the answer. But it seems all Lexus has actually managed to do to the LF-LC Concept since the Detroit Motor Show in January is paint it a fetching shade of blue.
Jaguar F-Type V8 S sprint test in Jabbeke – then off to Geneva 2013 in convoy + video
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Jaguar has taken the new F-Type V8 S to Jabbeke for sprint testing then on to Geneva in convoy with XK 120, C-type, D-type and E-type sports cars. So Jaguar took the F-Type off to Jabbeke, Belgium – where Jaguar’s test driver Norman Dewis managed a world record flying mile speed of 172.4mph in an XK 120 60 years ago – and put Le Mans driver Andy Wallace in the driver’s seat to see how quickly the F-Type V8 S would go. Andy had just a two mile stretch of closed road to play with the F-Type and yet managed a 0-179-0 with a clocked time of 4.2 seconds to 62mph on the way.
Lada X-Ray
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Russian automaker AvtoVaz has unveiled the Lada XRAY concept at the Moscow motor show. It's the first concept to emerge from under the direction of AvtoVaz's new design chief, Steve Mattin. Previously Design Director of Volvo, Mattin has a strong history with the SUV breed – it was under his direction that the XC60 was developed while at Volvo, while in his role prior to that at Mercedes-Benz, he also worked on the ML-Class.
