Toyota exec to answer questions on Digg
Mon, 08 Feb 2010Toyota’s recall crisis has left consumers uncertain, and to try to address that, a top executive will answer questions on the social-media Web site Digg today at 5 p.m. Eastern. Jim Lentz, president and COO of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., will do a “Digg Dialogg” based on questions submitted by users.

Well, there was, but it doesn’t translate in a to real production models as it involved sending your car back to Woking for service or McLaren finding a buyer for your F1 (for a commission). So McLaren has built up a dealer network and now it’s decided it’s time to launch a ‘McLaren Approved’ programme for used McLarens - McLaren Qualified – which involves McLaren taking used 12Cs and giving them a bumper-to-bumper qualification check, fitting any upgrades the car needs and bolting on a minimum two year unlimited mileage warranty and McLaren Roadside Assistance.
Nissan plans to build the Infiniti JX in Tennessee
Wed, 20 Apr 2011Nissan Motor Co.'s assembly plant in Smyrna, Tenn., will build the new seven-passenger Infiniti JX crossover next year, the chairman of Nissan Americas said Wednesday. The move is part of Carlos Tavares' mission of getting Nissan and Infiniti products out of yen and into dollars, but that will require the automaker to move some products around. Tavares also wants to buy more parts from North American suppliers.
