Jeep Wrangler Arctic and Liberty Arctic arrive in time for winter

First the Sahara, now the Arctic: Later this month, two new Jeep special editions will appear in dealerships--the Wrangler Arctic and the Liberty Arctic, inspired by the extreme conditions they're reportedly designed to attack. The Jeep Wrangler Arctic two-door, based ironically on the Sahara model, is available in winter-themed colors such as Winter Chill (a light blue), Bright Silver and Bright White. A four-door Wrangler Unlimited Arctic version also is available.

Design Contest: Interior Motives Awards 2011

Shortlisted entries have been announced for the 2011 Interior Motives Student Design Awards. After individual deliberation by our panel of renowned senior designers, students being tutored at colleges in a diverse range of countries including Israel, the Czech Republic, Australia, Taiwan, Canada and China, as well as in the established centres of Europe, the USA and Japan/Korea, have made the 68-strong shortlist of potential winners. Ford gains ground in customer perception

The Ford brand gained ground in consumers' minds this year as Toyota slipped, though the Japanese juggernaut still leads the pack by a slight margin. Over the last two years, Ford climbed 35 percentage points while Toyota dropped 46 percentage points, according to the latest survey from Consumer Reports. During this time, Ford (144) moved within three points of Toyota (147).
