I'm not sure what this headset is. It has the normal 5 pin mini XLR port for a 2 way radio. It has a permanently attached cable for a scanner. It has an internal rechargeable 9 volt battery (dead, I don't have the charger), a port that looks like it might be for a charger, and a switch that turns something on, and an indicator lamp that whatever it is that is on is on. I am guessing it is an early version of an active noise reduction ANR headset, but I am guessing. Is it an early version of a QT3, maybe a QT1? I don't know. Maybe one of you looking at this knows and can help me out. I tested the scanner cable with an mp3 player. It works with one side a little louder than the other. I was not able to test the 2way radio capability because I don't have any 2way radios or the cables for them. So assume that part doesn't work when bidding. If I was going to the race in Charlotte, I would ask RE to take a look at it. But I can't go. Please ask questions if you have some (or some suggestions).

I ship to the lower 48 USA states.

What you see in the pictures is what you get. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Happy bidding.

Bentley Mulsanne Convertible floated

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

Bentley are planning to take the top off the Mulsanne to create a new range-topping drop-top – the Bentley Mulsanne Convertible. Ever since the Bentley Arnage bit the dust, to be replaced by the Mulsanne, Bentley has been without a convertible at the top of its range. But that looks set to change if enough potential buyers say ‘yes, please’ to the idea of a Bentley Mulsanne Convertible, which is why Bently has revealed the sketches above (and below) of a possible Mulsanne Convertible.

Jaguar F-Type: Fearless

Fri, 06 Jul 2012

Jaguar is continuing its PR assault for the new F-Type with a video setting out just how special the new Jaguar F-Type will be. If there’s one thing that separates ’New Jaguar’ from ‘Old Jaguar’ it’s their willingness to embrace every opportunity to positively promote their cars at every possible turn and in every possible way. The launch of the new XJ properly started the new style of PR offensives when Jaguar managed to release what seemed like a thousand teasers for their new big Cat before we’d even seen it in the flesh, and that was a full year before the first new XJs even hit Jaguar showrooms.

A-Roads ‘greatest risk to drivers’

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

THE MOST DANGEROUS roads in the UK are A-roads, which are seven times more dangerous than motorways according to new research by the Road Safety Foundation. While 99% of motorways are rated in the "'low risk" category, 97% of single carriageway A-roads are not. The overall risk of death and serious injury on motorways and A-roads is lowest in the West Midlands and highest in the East Midlands, the poll revealed.
