Fisker reveals hardtop convertible Karma S concept
Mon, 12 Jan 2009Alongside the production version of the Karma sedan at the Detroit Auto Show, Fisker debuted the second model to join the Karma range. The Karma S (for Sunset) concept is spawned from the same aluminum spaceframe that underpins the sedan, but loses a set of doors. A retractable hardtop covers the four-passenger interior.
Roof leaks dampen Autorama
Mon, 09 Mar 2009The Detroit Autorama was marred last weekend by a leaky roof that spilled salty, rusty water onto several custom cars. The leaks were caused by a combination of heavy precipitation--Detroit has had one of the snowiest winters in recent memory that gave way to an early March rainstorm--which pummeled an aging roof. Water fell to the show floor in six spots, temporarily damaging seven or eight cars.

The Group's Czech arm is showing a new concept dubbed the Fabia vRS 2000, which has been specifically developed and built for the event. Drawing on the Fabia Super 2000 rally car, Skoda's designers have created an original roadster pursuing a single goal: dynamism and the joy of sporty driving.
