OEM Ranger Boat Dash Control Panel.  Controller has two wired plug receptacles.  One is a six-pin male plug, the other is a nine-pin female plug with 8 wires - the center pin is open.  Part has no signs of being installed and came out of Ranger dealer inventory.  This part has not been tested.  I believe this part retails for well over $200, but am listing this with no reserve and a $0.99 opening bid.  BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. 

Mercedes-Benz recalls 85,000 vehicles for possible steering failure

Mercedes-Benz will recall about 85,000 of its 2010 and 2011 vehicles for a potential power-steering failure, the company said on Monday. The models being recalled are the 2010 C-class and E-class sedan, coupe and cabriolet. The potential failure is caused by a loss of power-steering fluid.

McLaren reportedly at work on its next big thing

While we're getting ready for the soon-to-be-released McLaren MP4-12C, the British sports-car maker is at work on its next project. McLaren is aiming for a 2014 launch for a sports car that is larger than the MP4-12C, according to the Web site of the U.K.'s Autocar magazine. The magazine says McLaren is working with engineering firm Ricardo to develop a 5.0-liter engine that cranks out nearly 800 hp.

Last week, Audi Board Member for technical development Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg was meandering down the California coast, sampling red wines. Vacation over and on his way to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show, he popped by Stanford University's Volkswagen Automotive Innovation Lab to speak to students who'd just returned from winter break themselves.
