This is a VERY RARE jacket that was custom made for the giant Ferrari gathering in Monterey California in 1984.
A well known Ferrari guy who owned a company took limited orders and had these made. It has a thinsulite insulation under a nylon shell. I ordered a size medium on accident and it did not fit, so I never wore it. Laying flat it measures 20" from armpit to armpit, 19" from shoulderto Shoulder, 24" from shoulder to end of cuff, 23" from shoulder to waist. This is as new, the cuffs and waist are still elastic, and there are no marks or stains even after 32 years of dry storage in a a smoke free home! This is Ferrari yellow and is all embroidered, and of the highest quality. I wish I were a bit smaller!! This would be perfect if these measurements fit you or for your companion, for that Ferrai event or race! This is from the day when you could buy all sorts of non official Ferrari merchandise and there was some really high quality items available. Alas all is now regulated and pretty dull. I am having to downsize my Ferrari collection of 50 years so check back for rare items. |

Money Advice Service’s Online Tool Helps Buyers Choose Wisely
Thu, 10 Jul 2014NEW researched published by the Government-backed Money Advice Service (MAS) has found more than half of people who purchased a used car underestimated the running costs. Some 56% of motorists said that total cost, including maintenance, repairs, insurance and fuel had turned out to be higher than anticipated, while one in five (20%) have resorted to going into debt just to keep their vehicle on the road. One in four (26%) of the 3,000 people surveyed who have bought a second-hand car since 2012 now has regrets about their purchase, with many of them saying they had not worked out whether it was really affordable or that the purchase price was too much in the first place.

Wed, 19 Mar 2014French rally driver and professional skier Guerlain Chicherit's attempt to beat Tanner Foust's Guinness World Record for the longest car jump ended badly on Tuesday, March 18. Chicherit was attempting to jump a specially prepared Mini Countryman 360 feet from ramp to ramp before a crowd of onlookers at Tignes ski resort in France, in an bid to beat Foust's 322 foot car jump record which has stood since 2011. It appeared that Chicherit was off to a good start with plenty of momentum, even though the surface may have been a bit uneven for an ideal departure ramp.
