Burlington, Connecticut, United States
Condition:Used

For sale, this very rare Evinrude Sprotswin shipping create (thinking 1940’s).  I have collected and sold vintage outboards over the years, but I have never run across the original shipping create.  This create was a barn find, and although somebody added dividers to the inside and hinged the top; all of the original creating boards are still intact with the original factory stencils.  Each side has clear “Evinrude  Motors” and the top end is stenciled Evinrude Sprotwin 1??? (this stencil is not as clear).  The cover that is hinged is reversed, and the inside is stenciled with a shipping address.  This would make a fantastic addition to your Evinrude collection or just a wonderful glass top table and conversation piece.  Outside dimensions are 14” x 43” x 20”.  This is being auctioned “as is” with customer pick up or freight paid by customer; and I will drop off at the UPS store for them to package and ship at customer's cost.  Thanks for bidding and good luck.

Bertone Pandion (2010) at Geneva motor show

Thu, 04 Mar 2010

You can see the Bertone Pandion from almost anywhere within the giant halls at the 2010 Geneva motor show. It might be low and sleek, but the rear-hinged scissor doors run almost the entire length of the car and stand over 3.6 metres high when open. It’s quite a sight.
