Teardrop was just re-chromed.
Surface Finish:chrome Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right, Rear Brand:Jaguar Manufacturer Part Number:unknown Country/Region of Manufacture:United Kingdom Warranty:No

This is a genuine Jaguar set up to mount either a power or manual antenna to the rear quarter panel. These are very hard to find and the repros are just awful!!! Repros that I have found do not have the two teeth that center the teardrop in the body's hole allowing it to move on the body and ends up making the antenna mast crooked. Then there's the large gap that allows for leakage! This is the real deal here. The teardrop has just been re-chromed and is beautiful. The other pieces are in original but nice condition. The gasket may be a repro because it's in such nice shape.

Originally found on Series 3 E Types BUT it will work on all Series 1,2,3 E Types. So, if you're ready to get rid of that hideous cowl mounted antenna that's in the way of your car cover, or that cheap plastic aftermarket mount, or your super pitted teardrop, here's your chance!

This set up should also fit Series 1 and 2 XJ6 and XJ12.

The inside diameter of this teardrop is .596 inches. I do have another teardrop, also just re-chromed, that measures .562 inches if you would prefer that one.You will need to measure the outer diameter of the threads of your antenna and choose the teardrop closest to it.  Just let me know.

Snap-On display socket not included!
