KIND THANKS FOR LOOKING. I PURCHASED THESE A WHILE BACK FROM AN ESTATE SALE, WHERE THE OLE BOY HAD A BUNCH OF 64-67 MUSTANG PARTS AND HE ALSO HAD THIS SET OF GENUINE FORD ORIGINAL HUB CAPS. NOT SURE WHAT VEHICLE THEY WENT TO. ( IF YOU LET ME KNOW, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. THEY ARE 9.5" HUBS AND A FULL SET. HEAVY DUTY..THEY ARE DIRTY, AND NEED A GOOD CLEANING. FEW SCRAPS HERE AND THERE AND A FEW MINOR DINGS ON THE OUTSIDE RING. PRETTY COOL AND PROBABLY RARE HUBS...I COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER SET ON THE NET..TAKE A LOOK. ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS. Despite all 911s looking much the same to all but the Porsche nutter, there’s a choice of at least a hundred different models (well, it feels like it when you try to decide), from the pure 911 Carrera 2 on up to the Turbo Cab and all the bonkers ‘Track’ 911s – the GT this and the RS that. And now, just to confuse things even more – and to extract a few more sales before the 997 version of the 911 joins the list of 911s that once were – we get the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS.
Used car market pressure eases
Thu, 10 Oct 2013AN INCREASE in the number of used cars coming into the market has “taken the edge off prices” and calmed some corners of the industry, according to used car pricing experts CAP. A greater influx of part-exchange cars arriving at dealers is partly responsible, and with many franchised dealers focusing for the time being on selling those vehicles, competition to acquire stock on the open market has decreased. CAP reports that the pressure has been lifted on some dealers who had become frustrated at how expensive it was becoming to source cars at fair prices.

Tue, 26 Nov 2013One-off Ferrari 458 pays tribute to Niki Lauda Younger readers might not see the connection between Ferrari and Niki Lauda; after all, Niki Lauda is Chairman of the Mercedes F1 team, not Ferrari. But back in the 1970s, Niki Lauda was the Prince of the Ferrari F1 team, notching up driver titles in 1975 and 1977 in a Ferrari (and suffering horrific burns at the Nurburgring in 1975). Although Lauda left Ferrari in 1977 on less than good terms, the Ron Howard tribute film to the ’70s battle between Lauda and James Hunt – Rush – has obviously had an impact on one of Ferrari’s wealthier clients, who has commissioned Ferrari’s Tailor Made Programme to create a Ferrari 458 dedicated to Niki Lauda.
