This one is stock except for some minor machining to eliminate the extra bulge of material near the bolt holes. That modification creates an undisturbed, circular mating surface for where the intake bolts to the throttle body.

British Honda engineers get green light from Japan

Honda UK’s small UK vehicle engineering centre is all set to grow in size and importance following approval from Japanese bosses. The British car development base supports Honda’s main European development centre in Frankfurt but has been taking on increasing responsibility in recent years. A man in the UK purchased an old Morris Isis...then forgot about it in the back of his garage for 12 years. When he rediscovered the car and cleared all the trash off, he also learned it was one of the oldest of its kind in the world. While we have a few questions, not the least of which is "how does one forget a car parked in the garage," we're pleased to see that the owner has since restored the car and plans to strap a trailer on the back and take it to the beach later this summer.
