The New Jaguar XJ Reveal - LIVE on Cars UK During the evening – as soon as the embargo is lifted – we will be bringing you comprehensive details and images on what exactly the new Jaguar XJ has to offer. We’ve been teased to death by Jaguar with snippets on everything from the new XJ Sound System to a shot of a new Jaguar headrest as the new XJ interior tease, but finally we will get to see the new XJ in all its glory. The reveal of the new XJ is scheduled for 8.15pm tomorrow (7.15pm GMT), so make sure you get along early to catch the show.

Faced with the prospect of arch-rival Bentley showing off its new Azure T – a 500bhp version of the ultra-expensive convertible – in the same hall, Rolls was clearly wondering how to compete.

Renault is reviving the Gordini name for high-performance models

They don't sell Renaults in the United States anymore, but it's worth noting that the French automaker is reviving the Gordini name for high-performance versions of the Twingo and the Clio. The name pays homage to Amedee Gordini, a mechanical whiz known as "the sorcerer" for taking production-car engines and making them competitive on the great racetracks of Europe. The Gordini versions of the Twingo and the Clio will wear the trademark light blue paint with a pair of white stripes running from nose to tail and centered over the driver.
